Romania and Armenia pledge to boost ties

Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan has met visiting Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Theodore Bakonski on a recent visit to Armenia. Nalbandyan said that the traditional friendship between the two countries created a favourable ground for the further development of Armenian-Romanian relations.

The Romanian minister thanked for the invitation to Yerevan and noted that his visit aimed to boost co-operation with Armenia. They discussed a wide range of issues related to co-operation in the political, economic, scientific-educational and scientific-technical fields and intensification of cultural ties.
