Georgia and Kazakhstan pledge to increase economic cooperation

Kazakhstan and Georgia are very interested in bilateral economic cooperation, Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said on Wednesday following a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Karim Massimov in Astana.

“Economic cooperation with Kazakhstan is very important for Georgia…” Gilauri said. “…I think that Kazakhstan is an export country, and diversification of export versatilities is very important for Kazakhstan.”

In turn, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov confirmed Kazakhstan’s interest to continue investing in the Georgian economy.
