UNHCR head to visit Georgia

The head of the European office of the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Daniel Endres will visit Georgia from Jan 15-20. The visit takes place at the invitation of Georgian Minister for the IDPs and refugees Koba Subeliani. The invitation was sent immediately after Endres’s appointment as a director.

Daniel Endres is looking forward to get acquainted with the achievements which are the result of the joint work of UN High Commission for Refugees, the Georgian government, donor organizations, civil society and media, the Commission’s office in Georgia announced.

“Endres is interested in receiving information on future cooperation and the strategic priorities of assistance,” the office said.
