Hillary Clinton will visit Bulgaria on February 5

United States secretary of state Hillary Clinton is to visit Sofia on February 5 2012 at the invitation of Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov, the Foreign Ministry said.

During her visit, Clinton will meet President Rossen Plevneliev, Prime Minister Boiko Borissov and members of the Cabinet.

The main topic of talks will be bilateral co-operation, the situation in the Middle East, South East Europe and Bulgaria’s contribution in Afghanistan, the Foreign Ministry said.
