Georgia President met Bulgarian Prime Minister in Tbilsi

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili met in Tbilsi with Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov to discuss bilateral relations and energy projects, including transit of liquefied natural gas through the Black Sea.

Saakashvili praised Bulgaria and said it is a good role model for progressing in Europe.

He further said that Bulgaria’s EU membership and practice is a hope for the entire region and the enlargement of the Union will continue and Georgia will be able to join it.

“Bulgaria and Georgia have done a lot and now must use each other’s advantages and expand partnership,” Saakashvili said.
