Serbian President resigns so that Serbia will hold elections on May 6

Serbian President Boris Tadic will resign so that Serbia will hold joint parliamentary and presidential elections on May 6.

“I decided to shorten my mandate to allow presidential elections to be held on May 6. I will be a candidate,” Tadic said.

Serbia announced last month that parliamentary, regional and local elections will be held on May 6.
