Kosovo Deputy PM to attend forum in Sofia

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Bukoshi is to deliver a public lecture titled ‘Euro-Atlantic Orientation of Republic of Kosovo’ in Sofia on Friday at 4:00 p.m. local time. The meeting is to be attended also by Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Musa Xhaferi.

The two deputy prime ministers will speak about both European integration policies and interethnic issues in the region. Special attention will be paid to the escalating ethnic tension in Macedonia after the killing of five ethnic Macedonians close to Skopje last week.

The effectiveness of the Ohrid Framework Agreement will be discussed.
