NATO should reconsider position on Macedonia, says the country’s President

Macedonia’s way to NATO accession is being hampered by an absurd argument, said Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov.

According to the president, the decision of the Hague-based International Court of Justice should be respected by the members of the Alliance and the decision on Macedonia, made at the Bucharest summit in 2008, should be reconsidered.

Gjorge Ivanov took part in an international conference themed ‘Role of the active staff and reserves of the armed forces in support of their missions and tasks in the regional and world environment in the XXI century’.
