Georgian FM says there are no reasons for concerns after Serbia said it could recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia

President of Serbia talked recently about the possibility of recognizing the breakaway regions of Georgia.

Georgian Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze said there are no reasons for concerns, that Serbia is a candidate country for EU membership, but the two countries share common aspirations towards EU.

“There is no reason to worry, because there is no talk of recognition. Our countries have much in common. From tomorrow on this issue will begin consultations with the Serbian side,” Kapanadze said.
