Greek FM to visit Azerbaijan on April 29-30

Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on April 29-30.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece Dimitrios Kourkoulas discussed preparations for the visit in Baku in early March.

“Greece is aimed at expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in a bilateral format and within the European Union (EU),” Kourkoulas said during a press conference in Baku.

He added that the Greek EU Presidency in the first quarter of 2014 will provide additional opportunities to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan.
