Catherine Ashton: differences between Belgrade and Pristina are small but deep

Differences between Belgrade and Pristina are small but deep. This is what High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, said after the 12-hour negotiations between the two countries in Brussels.

Ashton stressed that this was the last formal meeting between Belgrade and Pristina. She commented further that several proposals were made during the negotiations.

“The two countries will hold consultations and they will inform me about their positions over the next few days,” Catherine Ashton said.
