Bulgaria could build 2 bridges over Danube

“Road infrastructure in North Bulgaria will be a total priority in the next programme period,” Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev said at the opening of the 8th Annual National Conference ‘Strategic Infrastructure Bulgaria 2013’.

“With the EU funds we want to build the Vidin-Botevgrad road, the tunnel under the Shipka, the Hemus motorway… We are working on the first public-private partnerships,” the president commented further, adding that the public-private partnerships were an extremely efficient instrument.

“We want two more bridges over Danube River,” President Plevneliev remarked and added that one of them would be in the town of Ruse and it would be either an expansion to the already exists one or a new facility.
