Serbian first deputy PM to visit Kosovo on May 12

Aleksandar Vučić says he will meet with representatives of Serbs from northern Kosovo and those living south of the Ibar on Tuesday or Wednesday in Belgrade.

The meeting will be held to discuss Brussels agreement with Priština, the first deputy PM said on Monday.

Vučić reiterated that the government “has nothing to hide and does not have different stories for Serbs from northern Kosovo and those south of the Ibar.”

“We want to send a message that our strength is not that we want to use force and might, even though we can. Our strength is that we want to convince people this is the only possible solution, the only thing that will bring a different future for the people of Serbia, the only thing that will mean progress for our country,” Vučić told reporters at Batajnica military airport in Belgrade.
