Turkey and Bosnia to discuss bilateral cooperation

Political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina focusing on bilateral ties and cooperation between the two with regard to regional issues are starting in İstanbul on Wednesday.

The consultations will take place between Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu and Bosnian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Trišić-Babić according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

The main issues of discussion during the consultations will be bilateral ties between the nations, as well as the latest developments in the Balkans, Bosnia’s bid to join the EU and Euro-Atlantic institutions and the current process of tripartite consultations between Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, the statement also said.
