Fresh round of Cyprus negotiations could start in October

President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Dervis Eroglu said the talks that aimed to resolve the Cyprus problem between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots would start in October.

Eroglu said “Today, the biggest problem for the negotiations is the land distribution between the two sides. We will negotiate the land distribution after the early general election.”

Government in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), headed by UBP leader Irsen Kucuk, failed on Wednesday to secure a vote of confidence at the national assembly.
