Georgian approves permanent representatives to UN and NATO

Georgian Parliament approved the Permanent Representatives to the UN and NATO on Wednesday evening.

As Permanent Representative of Georgia to the United Nations was approved Kahi Imnadze, who was chief of the press service of the President’s Administration under Shevardnadze.

Georgia’s former ambassador to the United Nations, Kakha Lomaia announced his resignation after the parliamentary elections in Georgia.

Levan Dolidze was approved as Permanent Representative of Georgia to NATO.

He will replace the current ambassador of Georgia to NATO Gegu Mgaloblishvili, which rotation period expires this summer.
