Georgia will continue its aspiration for NATO membership. A meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Council held in Tbilisi last week testified to this, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
“The European choice is a decision of the Georgian people,” he said. “This was documented in a referendum as of 2008 and we do not intend to give it up.”
According to him, the alliance is a good condition for Georgia’s security.
