EU and Georgia to ink readmission agreement

Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Gharibashvili made an official visit to Austria.

During the visit, a protocol on the implementation of agreement on the readmission between the European Union and Georgia will be signed by Austrian and Georgian governments, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia told Trend on Wednesday. On the Austrian side the protocol will be signed by the Austrian Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

The protocol defines implementational provisions of the agreement on readmission and regulates the specific details of cooperation between Georgia and Austria in this field.
