Thousands of Bulgarians have taken to the streets of the capital Sofia for a 28th consecutive evening to demand the resignation of the Socialist-led government over its ties with oligarchs.
The protest started with a minor accident, as a car attempted to pass through the rally and slightly injured one protester. The driver was detained by police, according to local media.
Four “intruders” were asked by police to leave the rally, after they allegedly attempted to provoke the peaceful protesters.
A number of protesters are expected to set up a tent camp in front of Parliament in downtown Sofia.
