Georgia and Lithuania discuss bilateral relations

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius. The meeting was held in the palace of the government in Vilnius.

The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation.

Ivanishvili thanked Prime Minister for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, its striving for the Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the non-recognition policy of the separatist territories.

According to him, Lithuania’s support is of particular importance given its presidency in the EU.

The Georgian delegation participated in the expanded meeting.
