Iraqi Ambassador to Romania meets foreign minister

The Iraqi Ambassador to Romania, Omar al-Barzanchi, and the Romanian Foreign Minister discussed the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries.

A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs cited “The Ambassador met the Romanian FM who congratulated him on assuming his mission as the Ambassador of Iraq in Romania.”

“The Romanian FM confirmed the support of the Romanian Government for the Ambassador to succeed in his diplomatic mission,” the statement added.

“Both sides stressed enhancing relations between the two countries by intensifying the contacts in all levels,” the statement concluded.
