Greek PM to visit Washington

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is to pay a visit to Washington on Thursday and meet with U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry.

The visit will underscore the United States’ ongoing support for Greece’s efforts to reform its economy, said the White House before the visit.

The U.S. relies on a discussion of defense cooperation, prospects for a settlement in Cyprus, developments in the Balkans, North Africa and Syria.
