Turkish President says the country’s future is in good hands

Turkey’s future is in good hands, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said after the Eid prayer on the occasion of Ramadan.

Gul said that the principles of the rule of law and equality are above everything in Turkey.

Every citizen must do everything possible for the development of the country, the President said.

Ramadan is being celebrated in Turkey today. Millions of Muslims in the country perform Eid prayer.

The holy month of Ramadan was determined for Muslims in the second year of the Hijrah (622 year). Ramadan teaches people to love commandments of Allah, gives them the opportunity to show their will power, tolerance, be vigilant, conscientious. Muslims fast during this month.
