Turkish Deputy PM says Syria should be punished

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and government spokesperson Bulent Arinc has said that Syria should be punished.

Bulent Arinc announced that the Syria issue would be discussed in details at today’s meeting of the Turkish government.

The Syrian government should be punished due to the use of chemical weapons. It is a moral investment to make sure such crimes against humanity will not be committed in the future. The necessary preparations are underway and the government will discuss them in details. Of course, it is the parliament that can approve or not the government’s request about these issues.

There are examples of such parliamentary behavior in our closest history, said Bulent Arinc.
