Egypt Court bans Muslim Brotherhood

A Cairo court ordered on Monday the banning of all activities by the Muslim Brotherhood, the group and the registered NGO, in Egypt.

The court also ordered the confiscation of all its property and that of any other affiliated institutions.

“The court bans the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood organisation and its non-governmental organisation and all the activities that it participates in and any organisation derived from it,” said the presiding judge Mohammed al-Sayed.
