Libyan PM visits Morocco

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan arrived, on Tuesday in Tunis, from Morocco for a short visit as part of a Maghreb tour.

Ali Zeidan was seen in at Tunis-Carthage airport by his opposite number Ali larayedh.

In a statement to the press, the Libyan PM said his visit in Tunisia aimed to strengthen the “solid and close” ties binding Tunisia and Libya and develop bilateral co-operation in all fields, notably in the security field.

For his part, Caretaker Prime Minister Ali Larayedh underlined that his talk with his Libyan counterpart had turned on ways of co-operation between the two countries, notably as regards security issues of mutual interest, especially the fight against terrorism and protection of borders.

The Libyan delegation accompanying Libya’s PM includes the Ministers of Defence, Foreign Affairs, Economy and Waqf.

The Libyan delegation was seen in by the Ministers of National Defence, the Interior and Foreign Affairs.
