EC to present annual progress reports on Serbia and other EU aspirants

The European Commission (EC) will officially present the annual reports “on progress of Serbia and other EU aspirants, Kosovo included.

Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport will deliver the text of the report on Serbia’s progress to Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, and afterwards EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule will present the enlargement strategy before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament.

During the afternoon, Fule will address a press conference commenting on this year’s reports.

The EC states that Serbia has made “a historic step in the relations with the EU and met the criteria for its accession talks to start in January 2014 at the latest.”
