Mubarak retrial was postponed to November

The Cairo Criminal Court has postponed the retrial of former president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, former interior minister Habib Al Adli, six of Adli’s aides and fugitive Businessman Hussein Salem in the case of killing protesters during the January 25th Revolution.

The retrial will be held in sessions on November 16, 17 and 18.

A number of witnesses were added including former prime minister Ahmed Nazif and former assistant foreign minister ambassador Wafaa Bassim, to give their testimonies in the case on November 16.

The court also decided to summon former assistant interior minister Mortada Ibrahim Abdel Rahman and head of the follow-ups department in Adli’s office for discussion on November 17.

On November 18, the court will hear the testimony of former military police chief Hamdi Badeen.
