Armenian President, EU Representative discuss regional problems

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Philippe Lefort, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.

During the meeting reference was made to Armenia-EU relations, a number of reforms implemented in Armenia with the EU support.

The interlocutors exchanged views on regional developments, the current stage of settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

The parties stressed the importance of continuing the efforts to solve the conflict in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship on the basis of the principles of international law.
