Bulgaria’s government has once again expressed its support for Kosovo’s efforts to join a number of international organizations, including the EU and UN.
“The relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo began when our country became one of the first to recognize the Republic of Kosovo as an independent state. Time has shown that our decision was right, since Kosovo’s institutions have been working towards establishing statehood, implementing reforms and embarking on a path to European integration,” Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin said after meeting with his Kosovo counterpart Enver Hoxhaj.
