Interim Prime Minister of the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) Ahmad Ta’ma held talks on Thursday with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on the preparations for the International Geneva II Conference.
The two underlined the importance of Geneva II Conference to the launching of a process of political transition, meeting the democratic aspirations of the Syrian people and respecting the human rights.
The French FM expressed his country’s readiness to help the interim government execute and implement priorities, particularly local administration work, and provide basic services such as energy, health, water and food security, which is part of a complete support for local councils which had begun by France.
