Georgia, Armenia sign military cooperation program for 2014

On Wednesday the Armenian and Georgian defense ministries signed a military cooperation program for 2014.

The delegation headed by Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Mikhail Darchiashvili, held meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and the First Deputy Minister David Tonoyan.

The two sides discussed prospects for expanding the cooperation level between the two countries’ defense ministries as well as possibilities of cooperation in multilateral formats.

The program for 2014 refers to mutual visits, cooperation and exchange of experience in the areas of defense policy, peacekeeping or military education.
