Lebanon, Albania discuss bilateral ties

In a meeting with his Albanian counterpart Thursday, Speaker Nabih Berri spoke of improving ties with the Eastern European country in terms of trade and transport agreements.

Following a meeting with Albanian Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta, Berri said “Lebanon and Albania will work with the European Union and the Arab League to promote Arab-European partnership,” adding that it was important that Lebanese investors made their way to the European country to encourage business between both nations in terms of company relations and investments.

“This visit is an opportunity to inform the officials in this country about the image of the political landscape in the Middle East, which suffers from a fierce terrorist attack on its various countries, including Lebanon,” Berri said.
