Turkey will not recognize Crimean referendum

Turkey does not recognize the results of the referendum in the Crimea scheduled for March 16, if a decision to join Russia is reached. Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu urged the cancellation of the referendum in the Crimea.

The announcement was made ​​by the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, after the meeting with Azerbaijani and Iranian foreign ministers.

Currently, Turkey held political consultations with all parties to try to reach a settlement of the political crisis in Ukraine.

Davutoglu also said that the territorial integrity of Ukraine is the most important problem for Ankara.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu urged the cancellation of the referendum in the Crimea.
