Fule says EU is obliged to enlarge policy towards Ukraine

EU is “forced” to use the enlargement policy towards Ukraine, Commissioner Stefan Füle said on Tuesday.

Füle said that the block should use ” its strongest instrument ” if it wants to deal with ” this part of Eastern Europe that have affected recent events . “

He described the expansion as having ” unprecedented efficiency and power stabilization .” Ukraine is currently committed to sign an association agreement on March 21 , the European foreign ministers have agreed to an emergency meeting Monday in Brussels.

Association Agreement with Ukraine will be signed after the EU has put in place for years its European Neighbourhood Policy , which was openly designated countries whose prospects thin or no prospects at all to join the union .
