Pakistan, US hold strategic dialogue

The first round of discussions under Pakistan-United States Strategic Dialogue was held on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the federal capital Islamabad, said Foreign Office.
A press release by Pakistan Foreign Office said that Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz led the Pakistani delegation while visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry led the U.S side.
Further in-depth discussions, covering the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest, will continue tomorrow, it added.
Kerry, who arrived Pakistan after visiting India, is expected to meet Pakistan’s political and military leadership and discuss bilateral relations and the regional security situation.
