Algeria reaffirms support for Yemen democracy

President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika reaffirmed in a message sent to Yemeni President Abd Rabbou Hadi, on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the national unity of his country, “Algeria’s support to the Yemeni people and his support to the steps aimed at laying the foundations of democracy and establishing constitutional institutions.”
“At the moment where the Yemeni people celebrate the 25th anniversary of their national unity, I am particularly pleased to extend to you, on behalf of the Algerian people and government, as well as on my own behalf, our heartfelt congratulations, as well as my best wishes for health and happiness to you, and more progress, security and stability to the Yemeni people,” wrote President Bouteflika in his message.
“I remain convinced that the Yemeni people are wise and perceptive and will overcome the current crisis through a comprehensive and inclusive political dialogue which preserves the sovereignty and stability of Yemen and its territorial integrity and allows to its people to meet their aspirations for peace and tranquillity,” he added.
“I pray God to help you to continue your efforts to build a prosperous future where the brotherly Yemeni people can enjoy prosperity and development,” concluded President Bouteflika.
