France reaffirms support for Tunisia's democratic transition

Jean-Louis Destans, Deputy of the Eure Department at the French National Assembly and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at this Assembly, Tuesday, reasserted France’s commitment to carry on supporting the democratic transition process in Tunisia.
At a meeting between House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur and a delegation of the French National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Destans commended the Tunisian transition experience, saying “the success of the Tunisian experience continues to spark the interest of countries across the world,” a HPR press release reads.
The delegation visiting Tunisia from May 26 to 27 is led by Jean-Louis Destans and includes MPs of the Val d’Oise Axel Poniatowski, the Yvelines Jacques Myard, the Allier Gérard Charasse, the Yonne Marie-Louise Fort and the Isère Michel Destot.
