Algiers convene an emergency of the signatories of the Mali peace agreement meeting

To defuse the deadlock in the implementation of the peace agreement in Mali, Alger convene the various parties to a high-level emergency meeting on 18 and 19 January.
Algeria, the leader of mediation in the Malian crisis, convened for 18 and 19 January in Algiers an emergency meeting at ministerial level of the mediation member countries and the parties signatory to the agreement peace. Objective: To propose ways to exit the process of silting.
The agreement signed June 20, 2015 is slow indeed to return to its implementation phase, which is in the first rank in the Malian government and armed groups.
“The agreement says that 60 days after the signing, the government must propose a text on the authorities of the interim period of the implementation of the agreement. So far, nothing has been done, “says Moulaye Ahmed, spokesman of the Platform, a signatory armed groups. In fact, the disagreement concerns a list of demands drawn up by 13 points the Coordination of movements of Azawad, CMA, which includes the main former rebel groups.
The meeting in Algiers will see the participation of the new Chief Minusma, Chadian Mahamat Saleh Annadif.
