UN voices concerns over MINURSO personnel expelled by Morocco

The UN peacekeeping operation department has expressed concerns over the MINURSO (UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara) personnel expelled by Morocco, noting that such an obstruction will affect the work of the UN mission.
In a letter sent to Dimitri Samars, chairman of the United Nations International Civil Servants Federation (UNISERV), the head of the department, Herve Ladsous, said no solution allowing the return of MINURSO personnel expelled by Morocco has been reached yet.
Herve Ladsous added in the letter, published by US media outlets in New York, that despite the UN efforts, MINURSO personnel have not been allowed to resume their work in the occupied Western Sahara territories.
