Unknown persons launched attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Wednesday, killing five and injured others in two attacks in the Raqqa countryside.

Local sources told SANA that two SDF militants were killed and others were injured in attacks launched by unknown persons on Marouda checkpoint, which is controlled by the SDF, east of Hassakeh city.

A similar attack launched by unknown gunmen targeted an SDF military vehicle on the al-Mankhar road in Raqqa’s eastern countryside, killing three militants and injuring others, according to the same sources.

On Tuesday, two SDF militants were killed and others were injured after their cars and positions were targeted by unknown persons.

On a different note, local sources told SANA that in the framework of their criminal policies against residents of al-Hol Camp in Hassakeh’s eastern countryside, militants from the SDF kidnapped a number of civilians from different parts of the camp and took them to an unknown location. Residents of the camp live in tragic conditions due to the absence of the basic necessities and safety.

The insecurity and chaos continues inside al-Hol Camp, where the US and SDF hold thousands of families in tragic conditions amid the lack of services and healthcare. Last Sunday the body of a woman was discovered in the camp.
