Koha: Kurti in Brussels accompanied by the British professor Mark Weller

During today’s stay in Brussels, Kosovo Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti was accompanied by a British professor, Marc Weller, reports Koh , referring to his sources.

It is not known what role Weller, who was Kosovo’s adviser at the Rambouillet Conference in 1999, played during today’s negotiations in Brussels.

The Briton was also a senior legal adviser in the Vienna process of negotiations on the final status between Kosovo and Serbia, which were led by the UN during 2006-2007.

Based on the biography published by the University of Cambridge, as reported by this media, Weller also contributed to the drafting of the Kosovo Constitution, as well as the drafting of the Law on the Protection of Minorities in Kosovo and the Statute of the Consultative Council of Communities.

He is also the author of the book “Disputed Citizenship: International Administration of the Struggle for the Independence of Kosovo”.
