Iran Appoints Ambassador to S. Africa

A009017212.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) Proposed by foreign minister and approved by the president, Asghar Ebrahimi Asl was assigned as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambassador to South Africa.

Ebrahimi Asl has already served as deputy oil minister, managing director of Continental Plateau Oil Company – a subsidiary of the state-run National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) – and deputy head of Iranian Industries Development and Renovation Organization, a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said.
