Iran, Tajikistan Stress Anti-Terrorism Cooperation

A02556047.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Iranian and Tajik foreign ministers in a meeting here on Sunday underlined the need for the two countries to expand ties and boost cooperation in fighting terrorism.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said that during the meeting, the two top diplomats discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views about regional and international issues.

The two sides also studied possible joint ventures and other economic projects.

The Tajik minister extended his congratulations to Mottaki on the 29th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and voiced his country’s preparedness to further develop and deepen ties with the Islamic Republic.
