Japan Voices Support for Iran-IAEA Cooperation

A0279919.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Japan underlined its support for Tehran’s cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

This was conveyed by Japanese Foreign Minister Masahiko Koumura to Mohammad Javad Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Commission, Thursday during the latter’s visit to Japan, IRNA reported on Friday.

Koumura also described Tehran-Tokyo ties as historical and crucial, calling for expansion of cooperation in all fields.

Explaining Iran’s nuclear program, Larijani underlined Tehran has had very good cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog and has addressed all its questions related to the program.

The Iranian official also called on all nations to respect Iran’s capabilities in various arenas as an undisputable reality.
