Iran’s Ma’aref Radio Launches English Service

A02802412.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Radio Ma’aref (Islamic Knowledge) has launched its English service on the ninth anniversary of the start of its work which coincided the birth anniversary of Imam Musa Kazem (Shiites’ seventh Imam) on Sunday 17 February.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mohammad Hossein Mohammadzadeh, the director of Radio Ma’aref said, “To commence the English service, Radio Ma’aref will have a three-hour production which is to be aired 24 hours a day. The programs will focus on various subjects based on the requests of our listeners Tabnak news website reported.

He said that the programs will be digitally produced and aired and added that although the Persian section of Radio Ma’aref has not been digitalized yet, all programs in the English section of this radio station will be produced and aired digitally.
