TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Slovenia’s charge d’affaires Matjaz Puc to convey its anger at “violations of religious sanctities” in the European Union.The Slovenian official received a letter from the Ministry stating that freedom of expression in the 27-nation bloc must not allow a disrespecting of Islam.
The letter cited Denmark, Holland and Sweden as three countries which had increased “blasphemous measures” against the Islamic prophet.
Slovenia currently holds the EU’s rotating presidency.
