Ruhr Theatre to Stage Iran’s Terminal

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian stage director Siamak Ahsaei is slated to present his Terminal at Theater an der Ruhr’s Landscapes Festival this September.

Terminal will make its European debut in the German city of Mulheim an der Ruhr (the Town on the River) September 3-7.

According to press tv, First staged at the 2008 Fajr International Theatre Festival in Tehran, Terminal, tells the life-stories of three women as they recount them.

According to Ahsaei, the play is based on three separate short stories by the Iranian writer Mehrak Qazvini.

Theater an der Ruhr invites drama groups from throughout the world to take part in the International Theatre Landscapes Festival each year, with the aim of promoting a dialogue among cultures.
