Int’l Environmental Exhibition Kicks off Work

TEHRAN (FNA)- The 8th International Exhibition of Environment started work here in Tehran on Saturday.

Concurrent with the Eighth International Environment Exhibition which seeks to present Iran’s latest environmental achievements, the First Non-Ferrous Metals Industries Exhibition is also held at Tehran International Fairgrounds from August 17-21.

The objective of the exhibitions is to provide an insight into the capabilities of domestic and foreign producers.

Some 220 Iranian and 18 foreign companies from Germany, France, Italy, Norway, UK, Thailand and Denmark have participated in the International Environment Exhibition in an area covering 15,000 square meters.

Meanwhile, some 57 domestic companies are taking part in the Non-Ferrous Metals Industries, covering an area of 2,050 square meters.

Different workshops and a conference will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibitions to introduce environment-friendly industries.
