TEHRAN (FNA)- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran would turn to a pattern for all world countries by the next two decades.
Addressing a national seminar on young scientists and elites, he praised great talent of the Iranian youth.
The Iranian people have always been the harbingers of science in the world throughout the history, IRNA quoted him as saying. He further underlining the need for further promotion of science and technology in the Islamic Iran.
Ahmadinejad called for removing the existing obstacles in the way of scientific progress of the Iranian young elites.
Prior to president’s speech, several elites briefed the president on their problems and made some requests from the government and suggested some proposals.
